At the PLL4 conference (2022) we will present insights from our FWF project. Our presentation will focus on language teacher wellbeing across the career trajectory. In particular, we explore the resources and challenges of teachers at four phases of their career: pre-service, early-career, mid-career, and late-career. The findings will shed light on the unique characteristics of language teacher wellbeing across the different phases of the career trajectory.
IATEFL Belfast

At the IATEFL conference in Belfast (2022) we will present our findings from the first phase of the FWF project. In this presentation we explore the challenges language teachers face and the resources they draw on to manage and nurture their wellbeing during different phases of their careers. Reporting on a large-scale international study, this presentation will focus on reflecting on the practical implications of the findings for teachers, teacher educators, and policy-makers.
